Cedar & Coin ("the app") is a private household finance tool operated by HK Applications LLC of Wichita, Kansas, United States. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
Cedar & Coin is a personal ledger and planning tool. You enter, import, or optionally connect the financial information you authorize, and the app organizes, charts, and summarizes it. A subscription covers one household of up to two people.
Nothing in the app is licensed financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Market data, technical indicators, and AI-generated summaries (including "Ask Cedar" and "Tape Read") are educational information about your own numbers and public market history. Past behavior of any market proves nothing about the future. Decisions you make with your money are yours alone; consult a licensed professional for advice.
You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery codes private. Cedar will never ask you to send a bank password, full card number, card security code, or government ID by email or message. During the invite-only beta, Cedar is free for invited users. When optional institution connection or paid subscriptions are offered, authentication and payment will occur only through the provider's hosted flow (Plaid Link or Stripe Checkout), not through Cedar directly.
Your financial entries belong to you. You can export everything from inside the app at any time, and you can request full deletion of your account and data by emailing digest@cedarcoinco.com. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Don't attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. Accounts that do may be removed.
Cedar & Coin is currently in an invite-only beta and is free while we build. Invited users have full access after email verification; there is no paywall or subscription requirement today. When paid web subscriptions are offered, they will be processed through Stripe. A future native app may use RevenueCat for in-app purchases; that is not available yet. If and when subscriptions launch, we will update these terms with trial length, pricing, renewal, and cancellation details before billing begins. Sign-in, export, and account deletion will remain available regardless of subscription status.
The app is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. HK Applications LLC is not liable for losses arising from use of the app, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the effective date above will change when they do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
